Quick answer

ABM (account-based marketing) means you pick a short list of target companies and focus your outreach on them, instead of emailing everyone. An AI agent for ABM does some of that work: it finds the companies, finds the people inside them, watches for signs they may buy and sends the first message. Here is what fits each team.

Updated October 2026

  • If you keep your deals in a CRM (the app where you keep customers and deals) and want agents to watch your accounts: Rox has a free start, then $100 or $255 a month.
  • If you want target companies from a plain description: Landbase starts at $499 a month for 15,000 credits, with 1,000 free credits and no card.
  • If you want data, buying-signal alerts and sequences in one place and can commit to a year: Amplemarket's Startup plan is $600 a month on a yearly term.
  • If you want to build your own account table and have an AI agent research each row: Clay has a free plan, then $185 a month.
  • If you want to ask for accounts in a chat box, with no sales call: Unify has a free plan, then $20 or $60 per seat a month (a seat is one user's license).
  • If you want an agent that runs campaigns from buying signals and books the meeting: Artisan has a free plan, then $280 a month on monthly billing.
  • If you run a larger team and are ready to talk to sales: ZoomInfo is quote only, and its Copilot Advanced plan covers buying groups.

Prices are monthly, in US dollars, as of 19 October 2026. Confirm the price with the company before you buy.

Who is this page for?

This page is for founders and first sales hires who sell to a short list of companies and are buying software to help. It covers sales software only.

Seven of the 16 tools in our guide to the best AI SDR tools for startups have account features. Rox and Landbase are the two the guide groups as ABM and account agents. The other five do ABM work as part of a wider job. Software built around ad campaigns or website personalization is not covered.

What does ABM mean, and what should an AI agent do for it?

A normal outbound campaign starts with a big list of people. ABM starts with a short list of companies, and each company is an account. An AI agent here is software that takes steps on its own. It can take over five jobs.

  1. Pick the accounts. Build the list of companies you want as customers.
  2. Find the people. Find the right contacts inside each account. A buying group is the set of people who have a say in a purchase.
  3. Watch for signals. A buying signal is news or behavior that suggests a company may buy, such as a funding round, a job change or a visit to your website. An intent signal is a sign that a company is researching what you sell.
  4. Research and write. Read up on each account and write a message that fits it.
  5. Reach out and book. Send the message and set up the meeting.

Few tools do all five.

What does each AI agent do for ABM?

"Not listed" means it is not a named feature. It does not mean the tool cannot do it, so ask the company.
