Quick answers
The questions buyers ask AI about visibility, answered straight.
What does AI visibility mean?
AI visibility is whether assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude name your brand when buyers ask for the best tool in a category. It is decided by the sources those assistants trust, not by your Google keyword rank.
How can I check my AI visibility?
Enter your website in the free checker above. It asks the leading AI assistants the questions your buyers ask, then shows whether you are named, who is named instead, and the pages those answers come from.
How do I get my company to show up on ChatGPT?
ChatGPT builds answers from the sources it already trusts for your category, mostly best-of lists, reviews and directories. You show up by being present and accurate in those sources and by keeping one page on your site cleanly quotable. You cannot force it to name you.
Can you pay ChatGPT to recommend your business?
No. OpenAI does not sell placement inside ChatGPT's answers, and no one can make it say your name. What you can do is earn your place in the sources it reads, which is where those recommendations come from.
How do I get cited by AI?
Get listed accurately on the pages AI already cites for your category (right category, current pricing, who it is for), and keep one quotable answer on your own site. Citations follow from being in those sources, not from your homepage, so this is where we help.
Is GEO replacing SEO?
No, they run side by side. SEO decides where you rank in a list of links; generative engine optimization decides whether AI names you inside its answer. A page can rank well on Google and still be missing from AI answers, so both matter.
What this checker shows you
Your buyers increasingly ask AI for the best tool in a category and act on whatever it names. This checker shows whether your brand is in that answer: which buyer questions you win or lose, which competitors AI names instead, and the source pages AI pulls those answers from. Then it points you to what actually moves the needle.
Why AI visibility matters
AI answers are winner-take-few. A Google page shows ten links; an AI answer names two or three tools and stops. Being one of them is the whole game, and it does not track your keyword rankings. Brands that rank on page one of Google are often absent from AI answers, while smaller competitors get named every time.
How brands actually get cited by AI
This is the part worth understanding whether or not you ever pay anyone. AI rarely quotes your own website. It builds its answer from the sources it already trusts for your category: the "best X," "X alternatives," and review pages it reads again and again. So getting cited is less about your homepage and more about being present, and accurate, in those trusted sources.
You cannot make an AI say your name. What you can do is earn your place in what it reads. Here is how to start, on your own:
What you can do yourself, today
- Find your prompts and their sources. Ask ChatGPT and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask ("best [category] tools", "[category] alternatives"). Note which brands get named and which pages are cited. Those pages are your target list.
- Get listed accurately on those pages. Right category, current pricing, one clear line on who it is for. AI repeats what those sources say, so accuracy compounds in your favor.
- Make one page on your site quotable. Answer your single most important buyer question in a short, factual passage AI can lift cleanly. Keep the wording stable.
Done consistently, that genuinely improves where you show up, at no cost but your time.
